William XO presents Oneiros, a live music performance marking the premiere and release of his new album, developed during his artist residency at MATI Mesaria.
William XO’s artist residency is the first residency presented as part of RESONANCE 2026 at MATI Mesaria. The residency became the creative home of Oneiros, his latest album, inspired by Santorini’s landscape, rhythms, and cultural environment.
The residency culminates in the live premiere of Oneiros at MATI Mesaria — an immersive live music performance bringing together electronic music, visual art, the atmosphere of the gallery, and the unique energy of Santorini. The performance is accompanied by the presentation of a new body of visual works developed alongside Oneiros as part of William XO’s creative process.
8:00 PM — Meet the Artist
An informal gathering with William XO at MATI Mesaria, offering the opportunity to meet the artist, explore the visual works created during the residency, and experience the space before the live performance.
9:00 PM — Oneiros Live
The evening continues with the live premiere of Oneiros, presented as an immersive live music performance shaped by the environment in which the album was created.
William XO is a French multidisciplinary artist working across music and painting. His practice explores the relationship between sound, color, and emotion, creating immersive experiences where visual art and music continuously influence one another. Inspired by nature, the Mediterranean, and dreamlike landscapes, his work combines electronic composition with expressive painting to evoke movement, light, and memory.
Developed between Athens and Santorini, his debut album Oneiros reflects this dialogue between disciplines and marks a new chapter in his artistic journey. Alongside his personal projects, William XO has composed music for film, luxury brands, and contemporary artistic collaborations.
